Agentic Pentests

On-demand in-depth testing of specific assets by Hackian

Description

Agentic Pentests are on-demand tests where Hackian performs a focused, in-depth analysis of a defined set of assets. Unlike the always-on breadth of Continuous Adversarial Exposure Validation, these tests go deeper into the assets you select — looking beyond common vulnerabilities to uncover issues that require more thorough exploration.

Two variants are available depending on the complexity of what you need tested.

Swift

Swift is designed for quick validation of small, low-complexity assets. Results are delivered within one day, making it well suited for spot checks, pre-release validation, or verifying that a fix has been effective on a straightforward asset.

Depth

Depth is designed for assets that require more thorough analysis — those with greater complexity, broader attack surfaces, or behaviours that demand a more careful and methodical approach. Results are also delivered within a day, but the test allocates more effort to each asset to ensure nothing is missed.

How to launch an Agentic Pentest

  1. Navigate to the Tests section and create a new test.
  2. Select the assets you want to include in scope.
  3. Choose between Swift and Depth based on the complexity of the assets and the level of coverage you need.
  4. Confirm and launch — Hackian will begin the test immediately.

Once an Agentic Pentest is launched, its scope, policy, and credentials can no longer be edited. As an on-demand test that starts the moment you press the button, all configuration must be finalised before launching.

Acting on results

Findings are linked directly to the test and appear in the Findings section as they are discovered. Once the test is complete, a full report is available for export, giving you a point-in-time record of the test scope, methodology, and all findings identified.
