There’s a base payout for a given pentest, regardless of the points achieved (on an hourly basis).

Our hacker rewards model is based on both collaboration and impact.

There’s a base payout for a given pentest, regardless of the points achieved (on an hourly basis).

However, the more points a hacker obtains during the pentest, the higher will be the final payout.

final_payout = base_payout + points_payout + lead_bonus
base_payout = hourly_rate * hacking_hours / 2
points_payout = base_payout * hacker_points / total_team_points * number_of_hackers

The lead bonus only applies to the team captain. More information here.

The base hourly rate will be shown before you accept an invite.

Please note: At this moment Ethiack requires you to send us an invoice. If you are not able to provide an invoice, we will not be able to send payouts.
